From the Nebraska Hall of Fame: One of Nebraska's best pickers, Steve Hanson played with many high school groups in Lincoln including, "The Rubber Bands" and "The Enterprise". Hanson, a wizard on any and all stringed instruments, released a solo album in 1979 titled, "Pick and Choose". Steve also recorded and toured with C.W. McCall, playing on three of his albums and doing all of the banjo work in the movie "Convoy". In 1979, Steve was the subject of a PBS documentary entitled "Homegrown Bluegrass".
