GRANDMA'S COOKIES / TALL TALES ZINE
Years Published 1979 - 1980

From Eric Hallstrom: Originally Kevin Gregorius, myself and Jarret Kopsinski (sp?) had this underground paper at Southeast Highschool called The Lamppost. Since I was a little more hardcore oriented, I took the cue to start my own zine. Initially called Grandma's cookies, it had some decent music-related stuff, but became more and more a pretentious, introspective personal journal ala Cometbus. Probably my crowning achievement was an interview with Fugazi that was picked up by some major magazine that was at the interview but not allowed to ask any questions. I recall I had lots of music reviews. Kevin wrote for the zine sometimes and frequently reviewed material too. He had an off-and-on piece about his real-life adventures (i.e. asking to borrow the Governor's dust-buster and getting denied).

No lineup recorded for this band.
