From Eric Hallstrom: Hour Slave was in existence about the same time as Water. We were all in high school, and I would have to say it was 1993. We played several shows with them at the Red and Black Café.

From Kevin Gregorius: I remember they did a great cover of Firehose's cover of “Sophisticated Bitch” by Public Enemy. They made the cover of Duff Stuff once, getting named the favorite house band as I recall.
