From Eric Hallstrom: I think Dan Shoemaker was in Sawhorse. I recall Phil telling me this when I said I thought they were the greatest band I ever saw at a Common Place show at age 16. I purchased this 4x10 Marshall Speaker Cabinet that Dan Shoemaker used from Phil. It was the one he used in Sawhorse, I think. Sawhorse may be part of the reason we named our first band Rocking Horse. The speaker cabinet had the Ls from “Marshall” broken off, and we called it "Marsha"
